1550nm Picosecond and Femtosecond Fiber Lasers
PriTel’s FFL Series of 1550 nm Picosecond and Femtosecond Fiber Lasers are designed for R&D applications in telecommunications, fiber lasers, optical switching, measurement of optical fiber optical fiber dispersion and nonlinearities, ranging, and coherent imaging.

PriTel's FFLs are passively mode-locked fiber lasers that generate soliton pulses without using any external clock or reference source. These lasers are very easy to use.
The pulse-repetition rate is based simply on the transit time of the pulse in the fiber laser cavity. The pulse is shaped by an internal saturable absorber. To operate the FFL, just turn on the key switch. No further adjustments are necessary.

Primary PM optical output
Secondary PM optical output
(provides approximately 10% of the primary output power and is useful
for measuring pulse width or pulse spectra)
RF electrical output from an
internal photodiode (useful for synchronizing other equipment in the
experiment)
Quick-Change of Pulse width
PriTel's Quick-Change Pulse width feature is standard on every FFL model with a pulse width greater than 150 fs. Each filter is designed to optimize the optical spectrum and pulse shape for the pulse width selected. A kit of three standard cartridges is available at a discount. Please inquire about cartridges for special pulse widths.
